Hackney Lookout

The first Hackney-based blog I ever discovered was Quink's brilliant Hackney Lookout. Mostly, it was pure observational stuff: wry, comic, sometimes incredulous vignettes of encounters with strange and possibly quite dangerous people he met on his patch up in Stamford Hill. His posts dried up a while back and now he has announced the blog has closed. But don't let that stop you from visiting it. His archive is intact and remains essential reading for lovers of Hackney wildlife of the human variety.
