Boris Johnson's vaunted New Bus for London carried passengers for the first time last February, starting out from Hackney bus garage at the bottom end of the Narrow Way. Prototypes have been working route 38 ever since, but have only recently been venturing all the way up to the pond. I've been covering the gestation and bith of the New Bus for years so it feels kind of fitting that I can now catch one close to my front door. But is it any good. Though not a fan of the present London Mayor I've been generally supportive of this high profile project. There are drawbacks with it, though. What do you think of it so far?
