Hi Dave

I can tell you a bit about the Essex Wharf development. The developers haven't been as out-and-out mercenary as some; one of the two larger buildings is social housing and shared ownership, and I think 7 flats in the whole site were set aside for wheelchair access, to be converted however the resident required. They didn't allow any bulk (multi-flat) purchases by investment companies. No gimmicks (I'm looking at you, Warehaus (between Mare St and London Fields) with your rooftop swimming pool), no fancy cladding or d├ęcor. Nice solid flats for people to buy and live in. Pretty good.
