Hi Dave

I can tell you a bit about the Essex Wharf development. The developers haven't been as out-and-out mercenary as some; one of the two larger buildings is social housing and shared ownership, and I think 7 flats in the whole site were set aside for wheelchair access, to be converted however the resident required. They didn't allow any bulk (multi-flat) purchases by investment companies. No gimmicks (I'm looking at you, Warehaus (between Mare St and London Fields) with your rooftop swimming pool), no fancy cladding or décor. Nice solid flats for people to buy and live in. Pretty good.
