I write about London, especially London politics, for the Guardian and elsewhere. I love my job, especially because since 2008 I've had the honour of being entrusted with self-publishing my own column for the Guardian's globe-spanning website. Double Q Books - the name is inspired by my East London postcode - is my rather haphazard attempt to do the same with books. "Zac versus Sadiq", a 50,000 word account of the 2016 London Mayor election campaign, is my first attempt.
I don't expect to make any money from this venture, at least in the short term. I don't expect to sell thousands of copies. But I hope a few people will buy the book and enjoy it. Bought directly from me - signed if you wish - it costs £6 plus £1.27 for post and packaging in nice, old-fashioned brown paper. You can get one by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll go from there. Or, if you prefer, you can make your purchase using the PayPal button below. Thank you. Dave Hill.
