Commenting At The Standard (Pt 2)

On Tuesday I posted a comment beneath an anti-Livingstone article by Boris Gilligan suggesting that the Evening Boris might have more success influencing the mayoral campaign if its coverage was fairer. The comment hasn't appeared. Yesterday I posted another comment beneath a different piece by Boris Gilligan, the latter arguing against the return of stop and search.

"An excellent, well-argued column. Why alienate the very citizens whose help the police most urgently need?"

I've just received the following email.

"Many thanks for taking the time to submit your comment to thisislondon.co.uk. You can view your comment here. We'd love to hear more of what you think so don't forget to come back and tell us!

Kind regards,

The thisislondon.co.uk team"

Sweet.

Dave,

Although I have rather enjoyed the Standard's campaign against the Mayor and Jasper in particular they and the Mail have failed to put up a few comments from me.

At Norfcliffe they only seem to like comments in the form: "Hanging is to good for them."

..or, perhaps, "What a marvellous article."
