A Peer Gets His Reward

Yesterday evening at Daunt Books I met a man you can read about here and here. He drew my attention to a by-election taking place in Lambeth today, one he believes the Liberal Democrats have a chance of winning, especially if all Liberal Democrat MPs dash down from Westminster to do a spot of doorstep campaigning. He wondered if I'd mention all this on this blog. And as he assured me that he reads this blog every day, I have.

I was out in the ward at 6 am this morning helping deliver the Lib Dem "Good Morning" leaflets. It should be an interesting result as Lib Dems have momentum in London at the moment according to the votes cast in recent council by-elections.
