A Photographer Writes

A commenter using the name "lensman" has posted under my Guardian politics live blog of the London First hustings.

"Interesting to read Dave Hill's blog - London Mayoral Debate - live. I must however put the record straight. Dave has been misled by 'Brian's people' "

He quotes me:

"8.32 Brian's 'people' ask me to mention that the Evening Standard's photographer has 'vote Brian' stickers on his cameras."

And he continues:

"Brian's team were it seems concerned to see that I had a Boris sticker on one camera (not cameras) and then asked if I would be happy for a Brian sticker to be placed on my camera. Impartial as I am, I said I would and seconds later Brian's team furiously plastered no less than six on my lens hood!"

Has Team Brian been a bit naughty? Watch this space!
