Time Out Hustings: A Statement From Team Boris

A spokesperson says:

“Boris was never due to attend the event on April 2nd as he had a longstanding engagement to talk to local newspaper editors. We had hoped to take part in the hustings when it was still planned for April 3rd but unfortunately TimeOut decided to reschedule for the day before instead. We’re disappointed TimeOut has claimed Boris has withdrawn as this is simply not the case but wish them a successful event without him.”

Statement ends.

So, just to clarify, Boris is accusing Time Out of having deliberately pushing this fake story to damage him for some time and simultaneously saying that no-one in his team reads Time Out?

Dave dear, did you notice the date? HAPPY APRIL FOOL!

(Boris had been booked for ages for that date then Time Out changed the date from the 2nd to the 3rd).

TIME OUT ARE HAVING YOU ON. They must be because they know the facts.

i FELL FOR THE ONE ON GMTV ABOUT THE SOCKS THAT MAKE YOU LOSE WEIGHT, SO HOW CAN I BLAME YOU ON THIS ONE?
