Veronica Wadley's Cat

Andrew Gilligan quoted in The Independent:

"'We don't start every day in the bunker with Veronica stroking a white cat going: 'Today you will destroy Ken Livingstone.' It's just not like that."

Look, I can live with everything else he says in the interview. But I don't believe the bit about the cat. Veronica does have one, and it's name is Andrew.
