Fascinating stuff in today's Evening Boris. It's given Livingstone space to boast about his plan to bash Chelsea tractor owners with their very own £25 Congestion Charge, and this time they haven't given his article a ridiculing headline. Wow! But, of course, its report on the announcement is full of experts casting doubt on the scheme's value, Boris Lydall is on hand to rubbish it and there's a leader column doing the same thing. I'll try to read all this stuff closely later, but I almost can't be bothered. Perhaps strong arguments are made, but the negativity is so predictable - a complete turn off.

I hate Ken ,hate him hate him... I cant stand the man , he should dissapear for ever... it is spoiling London it is not a free town anymore, it is spoiling everything ... Ken go to Hell

Bring back Ken! A serious politician who cares about London. He put a proper bus service in place and enabled the transformation of Central London from a gridlocked nightmare into a civillised pedestrian friendly capital City. What freedom is it that the maria above is missing? Freedom to drive an anachronistic death machine into central London?
