An announcement:
"The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has announced the appointment of three new members to the Transport for London board. Tim Parker, the First Deputy Mayor, has been appointed to the board and has been nominated by the Mayor to be the Chair of the board from 1 September 2008, subject to the confirmation hearing process of the London Assembly. Stephen Norris and Kulveer Ranger have also been appointed to the Transport for London board to provide advice and experience on a range of issues that affect the work of Transport for London."
All very business-like. But will they travel to board meetings by bus?
New appointment Kulveer Ranger has in the past been on record critcising bus lanes and TfL's support for them. So we can see which was the wind is blowing...
