Note the appointment of Edmund Lazarus, who is in the business section. Indeed he does have business experience, but then there's also the matter of the nine years he spent as a Conservative councillor on Westminster City Council. He bridged an interesting gap, replacing former leader Dame Shirley Porter in a byelection when she resigned in 1993, and giving up his seat in the 2002 election to Colin Barrow who is now council leader.
