That brings to mind several historic Depots I recall seeing in Tennessee.

As well, I just recently saw a short film of people dancing a Reel. Who knew it was simply square-dancing (more or less). School has us learn it in grade three as a part of Gym. Britain and America are like cousins, but in a bit of a dysfunctional family.

Your highlands remind me of the Cumberland Gap. . . No wonder so many from Scotland found that place and stayed.
