Is it possible that some people are just "short termers", i.e. they worry less about the future than others. University students have a far lower percentage of smokers than the rest of the population,. The argument being that they have a more long term outlook on life which is apparent by their long term investment in education and their long term investment on health by not smoking.

My point being that people who live for the day are more likely to drink, smoke, not worry about education and not worry about eating healthily.

Just a thought.

Maybe. Another thought might be that if lunch is the brightest part of your day, be darned if it's going to be about skim milk.
