It's the article I would have written, I agree with all of it. The problem is I am dependent on Ryanair to visit the family back in England. But increasingly I find myself travelling with AirBerlin, the service of which is friendly and even forthcoming; the price not much higher than Ryanair; you get a seat and specially allocated seats for families. I am just hoping that Ryanair will eventually feel forced to change its ways on account of the customers it loses to other discount airlines.

I must say, though, the tone of the commenters on comment is free seems very hostile nowadays.
